Mark Stapleton

Combine passion, motivation, skill, knowledge and fun and you have Mark. Serving as a head coach at Bodyworks gym, Mark takes on challenging responsibilities, such as President of the All Ireland kettlebell lifting federation, head coach of marble city kettlebell club, head instructor for School of Chinese martial arts.

He is a master coach, professional athlete and skillful teacher. His impressive athletic background allows him to coach and motivate while understanding the difficulties we all experience, from a professional athlete to someone just looking to get fit amd lose weight.

In addition to 23 years in the business, Mark is also a qualified Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. He continues to study and increase his knowledge and qualifications so as to offer the best possible coaching to his clients and athletes.
Mark has represented Ireland numerous times on the national Irish kettlebell team and was head coach of the Irish team for 3 years, he was also the only Irish Male in 2016 to medal in the professional division in the European championships.
Mark has coached many athletes to medals at the European and World championships and his athletes are amoung the highest ranked athletes in Ireland.
Recently Mark has taken up catch as catch can wrestling and Olympic wrestling and has qualfied as a level 1 coach under the Irish Amature wrestling association, Mark is also challenging himself by learning Olympic lifting.

When Mark isnt teaching Kettlebells, martial arts or coaching fitness classes and personal training sessions you will find him either training himself, eating, sleeping or watching the latest netflix series. He has been known to socialize once in a blue moon .

Mark loves to read and has more books on the "must read list" than he will probably ever get through. He loves to travel and has travelled extensively.
